Spay And Neuter Prices: (appointment necessary)

• Male cats $25 
• Male dogs $65 
• Female cats $45
• Female dogs $75 

 *Additional charges apply for animals who are pregnant as well as for dogs weighing in excess of 60 lbs. Proof of current rabies vaccination or a rabies shot is required.

*Add $10 to spay for pregnant pets   
**Add $20 to spay/neuter for dogs over 60 lbs.   

The first and third Tuesday of every month we also offer vaccinations from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm, no appointment necessary.

We are working to keep Shelby County a no-kill county. In order to achieve this goal, Shelby County Humane Society is working with the Shelby County No Kill Mission and Shelby County Animal Shelter. The first step to maintaining our no-kill goal is to have all animals at Shelby County Animal Shelter vetted and spayed/neutered. By doing this, adoptions and committment from  rescue groups increase significantly. This also will prevent accidental or unwanted litters of animals in the future.
